Fiskateers Lift Off! Online Crop Challenges - Day 3

Lift Off! Online Crop Challenges

Challenge #1: Simon Says

This is my second time playing! Fun and Challenging because you don't know the plan or layout. There are steps and they are given out after everyone says READY to move on!

ROUND THREE
Here were the details, which lead me to this page. Finally PAGE Picture is after directions.
Simon Says Round 3
STEP ONE:
Your cardstock will be your background.

For this step you will be cutting three of your patterned papers. You should cut two of them big enough to be a matting for two pics, aprox 5x7. One of the patterned papers should be cut to fit inside one of those mats you first cut, aprox 4.5x6.5. Even if you do not have two pics cut this way.

STEP TWO:
Attach the 4.5x6.5 mat to the 5x7 and adhere them to the upper left part of your paper. The other 5x7 deserves something special too so go ahead and punch it down the left side and punch holes down the right side with your hole puncher. Attach ribbon inside those holes any way you like, then attach it, to the right of your paper, even with the other :)

STEP THREE:
You should have paper leftover from the mat you made for the right side of your paper. You will be using that again now. If you have a pic attach it to that mat now and attach a pic to the mat on the left as well. Create a little tiny border with your border punch and layer it on top of the pic on the right side. If you do not have a pic for that side, that's OK. Attach a little border over there still.

STEP FOUR:
You should have paper leftover from the other matting. Time to use that too. You will now cut BIG photo corners to go at the bottom of the page. They will anchor the page for us :).After you adhere them cut from one of your unused patterned papers a mat to go inside those photo corner anchors and attach. Easy!

STEP FIVE:
If you have a pic attach it to that left side now. The paper that was your inside mat there will now be used again. Cut 2" squares to adhere between those photo anchors you made in step 4.

STEP SIX:
With your last patterned paper cut two small photo corners and attach them to that pic on the left. One at the bottom left, one upper right. Take a marker and write something special across the photo left, which is now your title :)

FINI!

Fiskateers Lift Off! Online Crop Challenges - Day 2

Lift Off! Online Crop Challenges

Challenge #1: Simon Says
This is my second time playing! Fun and Challenging because you don't know the plan or layout. There are steps and they are given out after everyone says READY to move on!

ROUND TWO
Here were the details, which lead me to this page. Finally PAGE Picture is after directions.

Simon Says Round Two
Step One
Take 3 of your patterned papers and cut them in half length-wise. Set the one half aside for later. The 3 that have been cut you should not turn them into 2" pieces. If you are scrapbooking 12x12 your pieces will be 2x6. If you are scrapboking smaller sizes, adjust to the sizes you are working with. Once you have them all cut, layer them across the bottom of your paper, alternating each of the 2" pieces until each has been used and adhered to the bottom of your page.

Step Two
With one of the uncut two patterned papers, cut a 4x4 square out of one as well as a 5" border, any width you choose. Punch that border with your border punch or cut with your scissors any way you choose should you not have a punch. Attach the 4x4 square to the right and above your layered pieces. Once you have created the borders, lay them across the 4x4 and attach.

Step Three
With one of the 6" papers you began with cut a 5" border, but it needs to be smaller in width than the one you cut in step 2. Punch a hole at each end with your hole punch. Thread a piece of ribbon into each hole and attach this border on top of the first border you created.

Step Four
With the last of your uncut patterned paper cut a 6x6 square. With one of the 6" pieces you have left create a 4x4 square to attach on the inside of the 6x6. If you have a pic to use, make a very small mat from on the of the 6" pieces you started with and have on reserve. Attach your pic in that big square you just made and attach it to the left of your page, above the layers on the bottom.

Step Five
Cut a little hand cut tag out of one of your scraps and punch a hole in the top. With one of the 6" pieces you reserved in step one, turn it over and with your handwriting in cursive write one word backwards that describes your pic. Cut it out and turn it over. You now have a title for your page :). Attach the little tag with a piece of ribbon to your word and adhere it under your pic.

Step Six
With any of the papers you have left fussy cut a few things out and layer them around your square on the left to add interest. Go to the right corner of your layout and roll it down some. Think of a worn out book.
Tadah! You are done and need to upload so we can all see :)

Challenge #1:
Simon Says
I never played this game before! Fun and Challenging because you don't know the plan and the steps. Each step was giving and then you had to say ready to move on to the next.
ROUND ONE
Here were the details, which lead me to this page. Finally PAGE Picture is after directions.

STEP ONE:
Your cardstock will be your bottom layer.
Take on sheet of patterned paper and cut it to any size you like then adhere it to the cardstock.

STEP TWO
Take one of your patterned paper and create a matting for your pic(s). Take one of the other patterned papers and create a smaller mat that sits inside of the bigger one you just created.
*If you are not including pics still create a double matting with your patterns.
SAVE ALL SCRAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Set the mattings aside.

STEP THREE
With two more of your patterned paper you should now cut two border strips. One will be larger width than the other. Both should be the same in length. The smaller one will be punched with your border punch. If you are playing without a border punch get fancy and create your own with scissors. Once they are cut attach the smaller one onto the larger one and attach them both width-wise across your paper.
SAVE ALL SCRAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STEP FOUR
Attach those mattings on your lo or card.
With your leftover scraps cut 3 rectangles of equal size and with your border punch or fancy hand cutting, create a border across the bottom of each of those three rectangles. Set them aside for our final step, step 5.

STEP FIVE
Attach your pic(s)
Punch a hole in the top of each rectangle...these are now tags to create a banner somewhere on your page, Use as many of those scraps as possible to decorate the tags. Attach ribbons through the holes of your handmade tags. Attach the teags all together to form a banner.

Finished! Grab a pen and write in some journaling if you wish.
